Nollywood veteran Jide Kosoko has revealed his greatest fear in life and it revolves around life and death even though death is one thing that is inevitable.
Jide Kosoko is one of the popular veteran Nigerian actor, movie producer who is known for intriguing roles in Nollywood movies. Apart from Odunlade Adekola, Kosoko is also known for memes across the various social media platforms.It will also interest you to know that most of the actor’s family members are also into acting including his late wife, Henrietta Kosoko who was also popular actress.
The actor who is popular in both Yoruba and English movies has said that he is scared of death. According to Prince Jide Kosoko in a quick chat newsmen, he does not want to die at all.Prince Jide Kosoko who answered a number of questions in quick succession did not hesitate when asked his greatest fear in life, he replies: “I dont want to die at all”
Recall that the actor was once accused of using his wife for ritual which he debunks and even said he had forgiven controversial social media enthusiast, Kemi Olunloyo who accused him of using his late wife, Henrietta and two others for rituals. Miss Olunoyo had claimed in a social media post that the actor used his late wives, including Henrietta, who died in June for money making rituals.
She had stated that, “Actor Jide’s third wife just died.
“The light skin bleaching Nollywood actor. This makes it three wives dead.”
After a long silence, Kosoko said Miss Olunloyo only spoke her mind and she had a right to air her opinion.
He was born on January 12, 1954 to the Kosoko royal family in Lagos Island, Lagos state. He attended his primary and secondary education in Lagos state and studied business administration at Yaba College of technology. He started his acting career as a child actor in 1964 with a television series “Makanjuola”. He started acting professionally in 1964 at age 10. But he starred in a professional production which was even before film production. His parents were not happy with his choice of career just like other parents.
But he was rascally as a child. He engaged in things that many of his mates never could dare. His parents felt he was to be entertained as a royal prince and not the other way round.

Ever since then, he has featured and produced several movies with his first production being “Asiri Nla” in 1992. Kosoko had a total of 4 wives of which 3 of his wives are late. Just after the death of his first wife, the actor was involved in a romantic relationship with two ladies which led to marrying them.
Sola Kosoko who is also an actress, is the daughter of his late first wive. Another Jide Kosoko’s daughter, Bidemi Kosoko is also an actress who studied Theatre Arts at Lagos state university.Jide Kosoko’s late wife, Henrietta Kosoko was also a popular actress who died at the age of 53 on June 5, 2016. The actor presently have only one wife, Kareemat Kosoko and does not intend to marry again.
